WELCOME, Come On IN!
"The books that help you most are those which make you think that most. The hardest way of learning is that of easy reading; but a great book that comes from a great thinker is a ship of thought, deep freighted with truth and beauty."
About the teacher
I am a 7th grade language arts and social studies teacher at Clinton Elementary School, my old alma mater! Teaching has been my passion for over 10 years. I recognize that students have a variety of interests, backgrounds, and needs. thus they do not learn in the same way. That is why I use a variety of teaching methods and strategies that cater to each child's individual learning style.
With tight collaboration from parents/guardians, students, and myself, I am positive that we will pave the road to success for every learner!

general classroom expectations
I expect all students to work to their best ability, produce the highest quality products after a number of drafts, reflect on their learning, and to keep challenging themselves.
Students are also expected to come to class prepared everyday, clean up after themselves, return borrowed books and materials, and respect the materials of others.
Students are also responsible for completing assignments in a timely manner. Assignment sheets will be distributed, however, there will be times when I will assign homework that is not listed on the assignment sheet. Please be mindful of what is due and when. There will be homework EVERYDAY.
